1. How does it work?
First, send us a message! Once we know you are interested in hiring one of our Cajun Dancing Companions or team of Dancers, we will find out what type of dancing you would like to do (Cajun/Swamp Pop, Zydeco, a mix of Cajun/Zydeco, Line Dancing, West Coast Swing).
Second, we would offer different choices of dance halls in the local area for you to choose where you would like to dance.
Third, We would schedule a video chat to discuss an available date and time. Both the client and the dancer will have profile picture of each other before hand to know who to look for. Your Dancing Companion will meet at the front door of the agreed-upon dance hall. The Cajun dancing companion will be your dance companion for the amount of time you have secured their services.
2. How many dances do I get?
The Cajun dancing companions follow the formula of two dances with the client and then one dance without. During the two dances with your dancing companion, he or she will be looking for your hand to lead you out to the dance floor. The third dance would be off to give other dancers an opportunity to ask you to dance.
All Dancers Dance Differently:
As an added bonus, the dancers will be looking for other dancing companions to lead you out onto the dance floor this will help show you how another dances. The next song begins again the two dances with your dancing companion. The goal is for you not to sit out unless you want to, and if you do that’s OK, lets us know, we understand the need to take a break and catch our breath! While we wait, let's hydrate!
3. How much does it cost?
Rates for Cajun Dancing Companion:
We have a package to fit your dancing ability and needs!
The rates below are for the dancing companion service only.
The client is responsible for their own cover charge into the venue and paying for their own drinks. Tipping the Dancing Companion is optional but appreciated.
$75 for the first hour
$125 for two hours (our most requested)
Contact us for pricing if you need the service longer than 2 hours.
The companion is responsible for their own cover charge and paying for their own drinks.
There will be additional charges for services performed on holidays
and travel outside of Lafayette.
Services are reserved and Payment is made by credit card in full before the service are provided. There are no refunds.
4. Perception
A common concern that people have when considering our dancing service is perception, “Won’t people know that I hired a dancer?” Our response is: "They might think it but how would they know for sure?” The way we see it, we’re normalizing hiring a professional dancing companion to enhance your dancing experience, not theirs.
